A picture is worth a thousand words

My creative collaborator, Simon Ashbery, has been very busy the last month getting to grips with creating fractals. It’s probably best to just let the images speak for themselves:

3 months ago I heavily doubted I'd have any success getting a ray marched mandel box working in Unity. I'm happy to be wrong! #gamedev #IndieDev #unity3d #fractal #generativeart #fractus pic.twitter.com/HSqOata1CB — Ash (@Si_Ashbery) July 5, 2019

Continuing with the fractals. Been focusing on improving fidelity and shading this afternoon. It's really coming together. #ScreenShotSaturday #gamedev #indiedev #Fractal #generativeart #fractus pic.twitter.com/Yp2u4tnHQy — Ash (@Si_Ashbery) July 6, 2019

First apollonian fractal implemented! July 8th 2019

And we have fog! July 9th 2019

Working on the glow effect. August 5th 2019

Developing the glow. August 9th 2019

We now have our VR headset so the next steps are:

  1. To get this working in VR

  2. Start making it pretty

  3. Drop some of the V.O/story elements in and start to play with interaction and sound…
